"Flow: the Water Show"
Alliance for the Great Lakes Discussion: Saturday, August 2nd, 2025 from 5 to 8 PM
The Great Lakes account for 20% of the world’s surface fresh water right in our back yard. Discuss the threats to our waters, as well as reasons for optimism. Our Great Lakes are our most previous resource, and at least 40% of art sales from the “Flow” Exhibition benefits the Alliance’s essential work to safeguard our most precious resource. We have already raised 2500 dollars!
Exhibition runs until August 31st.
Art for a Cause
Relax in a gallery flooded with paintings of waterscapes. Bathe in tranquil meditative scenes. Artists are keenly aware of sparkling light and color. At least 40% of all sales will benefit the Alliance for the Great Lakes.

Seeking Expressive Landscape paintings that reflect artists’ unique perspectives. Color is an essential tool which illustrates emotional depth and subjective responses. We are looking for Painterly Landscapes with evidence of brush strokes, texture, and bold colors that push beyond green. Rather than copying nature, respond to it through Impressionistic mark making, subjective color and abstract shapes.
